Multiple Sclerosis Education Events

MidAmerica Neuroscience Institute’s Doug Schell APRN, MSCN will be providing education and information about MS to patients, family members, and health care professionals at numerous upcoming events.

Schell will speak on MS and the medication Gilenya on Thursday, August 30th at 6:00 PM (Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, 8451 NW Prarie View Rd.,. This event is sponsored by EMD Serono and MS Lifelines.  Another event is planned for Topeka, KS on September 13th (see MSLifelines.com for more information).

Schell will be educating nurses about MS in Saint Louis on Saturday, October 27th at the International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses program “Complex Issues in MS: Creative Nursing Solutions.”  This free event offers a full day of MS education from several prominent MS nurses and provides 6.5 hours of free continuing education credits to nurses.  Visit iomsn.org to register.
